Welcome to Purelicious blog! This is a litttttle bit about yours truly.
From a young, young age, there were three things I was always interested in: entrepreneurial ventures, fashion, and food. I often tried to combine these, attempting to sell homemade cookies to neighbors, or selling clothing or jewelry online on eBay. These hobbies are the biggest parts of me, and shaped me into who I am today. So who am I now? A young twenty-something recent college grad, just moved to the Big Apple trying to make her way in the world, with a pretty standard 9-5 cubicle job at a retail giant, while also making handmade jewelry on the side to sell at my Etsy shop.
I’m aspiring to be the healthiest and most environmentally conscious eater I can be: I attempt to be mostly vegan, organic, and local when eating at home, but out at an NYC restaurant on the weekend I love to endulge. I’m constantly concocting healthy raw or vegan treats in my teeny tiny kitchen to share with anyone who is willing to be a guinea pig. Between the full-time job, side jewelry job, cooking adventures, and now, blogging, there’s not much time for anything else, but a few other things I do enjoy: shopping (duh), hitting the gym, trashy TV shows (Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Jersey Shore, American Idol, Bachelor, etc…), discovering new music, and most importantly, going out and exploring NYC as much as possible with my friends! I’m always looking for new bars/lounges/restaurants to check out, so if you are in the area and know of an awesome hidden gem, please do share! I also really love to travel, but current budget restraints and few vacation days have kept me pretty grounded to good old NYC. Also, I love to tweet!
